Today I woke up having the song in my head "I'm counting on God". I felt reassured that I could trust God had it all under control. We still didn't want to do all this again. I mean, we've been to the Doctor's 3 times this week and the embassy twice. It felt like everything had been a battle so far and we are tired. So we were dreading it. We left around 8:30 and got to Doctor's by 9:30. They checked his arm right away! Didn't even wait until 12 like they said they were going to. We were out by 10:30. Headed to the embassy, get in and she tells me "you don't have to do the interview, I've already made the changes and hopefully it will be done today". By 11:30 we were out of there with his visa. Praise the Lord. I told Jay before we left that I prayed this morning that maybe it could be done by noon but we both thought it wasn't likely to happen after all we've been told. But we were. So, we are leaving on time tonight.
The Lord did that. It was by no means anything we did except trust in him. So we are heading home. Jay is ready for a big juicy hamburger and so am I.
Raja is adjusting well. He is finally used to the toilet and his bath. He loved it last night. In fact he surprised me when he layed down and stuck his face in. Never cried. Just looked up at me. He eats more than Jay and I combined. When he is hungary, he gets this sad face. When he eats he is happy.
Well, signing off. Thank you all for praying for us. We could feel your prayers and are greatful.
See you in America!

WOOHOO! Praise the Lord. So glad you are on your way back HOME!
Okay...Abby was up most of the night, so I was praying for you guys all night. So reading your post this morning, has brought TEARS to my eyes!!! Okay, actually I am bawling!!! Having just gone through the India trip, I could so imagine the stress and concern. I had a post on facebook with all my adoption friends praying too. SO THANKFUL that you know the LORD and could put your trust in him! I love the way he moves the mountains in adoption and so thankful for your testimony of JUST IN TIME! Seems like the story of adoption...JUST IN TIME...never early...never late! Hope to SEE you guys in America sometime! Would love to get our India babies together! :) So glad you are on your way home and I will continue to pray for you today as you are flying HOME!!!!
Words from Matthew West's song "One Less" have so much meaning for me.
