Ok, ...So I have a lot of catching up to do! Sorry everyone for dropping off the face of the earth, but we are back.:) It has been an adjustment with 3 kids. A little busier to say the least. We came Raja seems to adjust well. Matea was really jealous at first but she is getting used to him being around and they get along a lot better than before. Jackson is doing great. He goes with the flow. I think he was a little worried at first about attention but not anymore. It's funny because when Raja and Matea go to sleep, Jackson laughs and starts playing more.
It definitely has been an adjustment for Jay and I. I was talking to another mom who adopted a 4 year old from India just 2 monthes before us. She also has a 3 year old daughter and our situations were very similar. We talked and compared stories and came up with the fact that so many people make adoption look so easy when the child comes home, but it's not. It's defintiely an adjustment. It feels like we are babysitting but in the end the child is still yours. Wierd. Come to find out,...many who adopt hide the fact that it does take a while for that child to feel like he is yours. So,..slowly but surely it is coming. What keeps us going is the thought of him never having any of this freedom he has now. It's neat to see him want to pray now. He has the opportunity to hear about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at a young age.
So for all of you thinking about adopting or have adopted recently it is hard when the child comes home, but it will get better and remember it is the Lord's will and he has a purpose for that child. Here is a video of the day we picked him up. He has changed a lot in 2 monthes:)

Wonderful update Megan. Sweet pictures.
That is adorable! What a smart little boy!!! What precious memories for him to have...complete with the India horn honking in the background! :) He is a doll. Yes, bringing home a little one is an adjustment. For me, it is going back to "toddlerhood" after all the years of "freedom"...but SO WORTH IT!! I have had to adjust my expectations a lot...the house is a wreck most of the time now. Wow...can this little one make a big mess in a hurry! :)
Merry Christmas!
Jenny
