Hello from India!
So we are in New Delhi now. We got in late and had to give Raja a bath. Well, we all needed to. Raja doesn't like using the toilets like we have. At the orphanage it is a toilet in the ground and so he is used to using that. He freaks out at the toilet. So you may say just don't take him. Problem is, he holds it almost the whole day. I think he is afraid to go. So by the time we take his diaper off in the restroom he starts going right away. Jay and I and Raja all got peed on today! Jay probably the worst!:) Anyways, we also figured out he doesn't like baths. I don't think he ever had a bath. Remember we couldn't ask all those questions so we are learning as we go. He freaks out when he sees the bath!
On the positive side, he loves any food he has tried. He always is happy with food in his hands. He brings a smile to everyones faces here. People are so quick to help us. In fact we needed a lot of copies made yesterday at the hotel of documents for his visa. There is a charge, but they didn't even charge us. People walk by and just say, "He is lucky".
Well, it 1:30am here. Hopefully we can get Doctor visit in tomorrow morning and maybe even Embassy. I'm going to see if they can see us earlier so we don't have to pay for a driver both days. The embassy is 40 minutes from the hotel. Not a big deal, but I thought it was closer. So, that is that.
We miss everyone and ready to come home. Tell the kids we miss them and love them and Matea needs to take the princess shirt off, grandmas:). Tell Jackson to have a good week in school. Talk more to you all later!
Oh, Jay wanted me to write that the driving is crazy and we actually saw a man get run over by a bus yesterday on his motorcycle. He just got right back up, rubbed his head and walked away. Crazy!

We miss you too.
One thought on the bath...I think they take "bucket showers". So, you may want to try giving him a bucket in the tub or just let him stand and you use a bucket to rinse off the soap. Abby and Sanjai both were very use to getting a bucket of water dumped on them!
Isn't the driving CRAZY!!! There is NO "right" side of the road! Seemed to be a bit more organized in New Delhi, tho. Glad things are going well. Hope you can combine the Dr and Embassy day. Praying for you guys!

Hej Guys!
Megan, I know you guys cant go online a lot so I thought I write you here, cause Im not sure you have time to check facebook (I'll just copy paste this note there)
DId you figure out something about Amsterdam? Otherwise I could try to reach someone at the airport.
Which is your airline? You know your flight number? Im not sure how I can find you at the airport, but that should be no problem.
I think you guys would have to leave the airport (just like amsterdam is you final destination) and than I could meet you at the doors (just like when I picked you up in dusseldorf last year)--- so we would still be IN the airport only in the area where the families are waiting to pick up the travellers. You know what I mean?
I guess you guys wouldnt have to check in your luggage again cause Im guessing the airport will just bring that to your next plane, right?
So all you had to do (Im thinking) is check in again after we had breakfast or something :), meaning getting checked by the airport people again and than you'd be ready to go to your plane.
I will post you my mobile number at facebook in a message cause I dont want it for all to see online.
He looks so cute (sorry; judy.. i know boys arent cute but handsome as you thouhgt me once :D) STill cute! :)

One more thought on food, although I know each region is different. Most likely, he will love rice with a "gravy type" mixture, like Daal (I think I am spelling that right). They also seem to love their milk very warm with a little sugar in it. A couple things to try while you are there to see! Our hotel had a buffet so we could test different things. Hope all is well!
