We are home! Sorry for no updates. I have not had any access to internet since last Saturday. Trip home went well. We headed home last Sunday afternoon, spent the night in Amsterdam and flew home on Monday morning. Jackson did great. Monday, Jay picked us up and we headed up north to the UP. It was good to go to the cottage and recover from jet lag and just relax for the week. I'm sure many of you are wondering what changes we have seen. We have noticed right away less spasticity and his hands are more relaxed. He keeps his hands open more and when he grasps something he doesn't open and close constantly. It is a firm grasp. We have also noticed his eating is better, chewing better and also more and different sounds. He also has a new facial expression he does all the time. I will continue to keep up with updates when or if we see new improvements in the future. Like they said at the clinic, he needs to continue to do physical therapy and keep working and everything together will aid in helping him achieve new things.
Thank you all so much for your prayers while we were there. God's hand was in the whole trip. Everything that happened, happened for a reason. Please continue to pray for Jackson in the upcoming weeks and monthes that the treatment will continue to work and that we will, if God's will, see more improvement. We thank the Lord for the improvments we have already seen. God is good, all the time.
Pictures to come:)
