Florida
Matea discovering sand
Jackson loving the beach!
Jumping the waves
That is a turtle. If you can't tell, use your imagination:)
Jackson burying Jay's feet and Matea observing
Making a snake
This is Jay before he saw he was fried:) That may have been my fault:)

Jackson loved jumping into the sand face first. Who would have thunk.
He had sand caked in his mouth and he was still laughing and doing over and over again:)
Matea before going in the water.
after.....yeah, she didn't like the water so much.
We ate at Sharky's one night. The kids loved the fish tank next to our table.
Fresh seafood tasted soo good! After eating peel and eat shrimp, I was reminded why I don't eat cocktail shrimp like I used to.
We had a pool right behind our house we stayed in. Jackson loved it!
Matea liked sitting on the first step but clung to us in the deeper water. "come on dad! higher!"
I wish this picture wasn't so blurry. Right before this, Matea crawled right up to Jackson, layed her head on his shoulder and read a book. I grabbed the camera and she moved, but then went back to this position. She loves her brother and always likes to be near him.

Jackson loving being in shorts and t-shirts!
Matea loving it too.:)
Tennessee
We first went to Tennesse to visit the Huddlestons. We had a great time. It was soo good to see them again and also old friends. We missed you Lauren!
The new addition to the Burkholders:)
All the kids:)
Matea was so sick of being in her carseat that when we first arrived, she crawled. She's been trying but hasn't mastered, until now. It pays to take kids on long trips:)

OH I WISH we were on the beach right now!!! Matea in her little swimsuit and hat....I just want to eat her up! And Jackson's big smile makes me smile...I love that he loves water...although I'll be honest and say the sand in the mouth made me cringe a little bit...Jackson, how can you be smiling after that? You're crazy. We can't wait to see you guys!!!
