Jackson has started moving around more and now likes to jump on the arm of the couch. Jay has been helping Jackson stand up at the arm of the couch by making it seem like it is play (the same way he learned to get up on his own). He's never done it himself...until today when I put a rug down so he wouldn't slip and fall on the hardwood floor. I didn't think anything of it. I just thought it would help him not fall so much.
This morning when I was praying, I prayed and asked the Lord to help Jackson do something today that is "new". I asked that like last year at this time he started to get up on his own and crawl, can today be another day like that. My prayer was answered. God is so good!
